Through the study of music theory, students will be introduced to the building blocks of music including intervals, chords, and scales, as well as common practices governing the creation of music manuscript.
Upon completion of this course, you will have learned how to:
- Read and write music notation
- Recognize notes in multiple clefs
- Construct scales and modes
- Identify key signatures
- Recognize intervals
- Construct triads, seventh chords and their inversions
