The Bosse School of Music (BSM) is a unique facility where students of all ages and abilities can come from all over to learn, enjoy and experience the gift of music. Focusing on contemporary music, our fully integrated approach combines private instruction, ensembles, group classes, recitals, clinics and master classes. Our spacious lesson rooms are equipped with the latest technology, and our reception area is designed for conveniece and comfort. Here at Bosse School of Music, we pride ourselves on offering the largest selection of musical courses in the state. Whether you're a parent looking to give your child a head start in the arts, or an adult musician trying to add some structure to your playing, we can offer you the right combination of private lessons, group playing, and even music technology courses to help you achieve your goals. The BSM offers private instruction for voice, guitar, bass, drums, piano, saxophone, clarinet, flute, oboe, bassoon, trumpet, trombone, baritone, tuba, violin, viola and cello. In addition to private lessons, our extensive ensemble program provides students an opportunity to interact with musicians of similar abilities, and our voluntary certificate program adds the added goal of an annual recital, which helps students materialize their efforts and build self-confidence.
The faculty of the BSM represents some of the finest educators and performers from the South Shore and Boston. Our 16 instructors hold degrees from some of the most prestigious music schools including Berklee College of Music, New England Conservatory, The Hartt School of Music, Boston University, Harvard University and Duquesne University.
The BSM hosts a number of special concerts and clinics throughout the year featuring an array of spectacular performers and educators from institutions such as Berklee College of Music, New England Conservatory and The Boston Symphony Orchestra.
The BSM was co-founded by guitarist/composer/educator Ron Bosse. and renowned Vocalist Trina Aitken. Ron, a graduate of Berklee College of Music, Ron has performed with a host of jazz legends including Dave Liebman, Rick Margitza, Bob Mintzer, Gary Thomas, George Garzone, Jerry Bergonzi and Bob Moses. As leader of the critically acclaimed jazz quintet Pursuance, he has performed at some of the world's most respected venues including Tanglewood, Seiji Ozawa Hall, Symphony Hall, Regatabar, The Boston Globe Jazz Festival and The Litchfield Jazz Festival.
