This course teaches you everything you need to know about GarageBand, and provides technical training in sound recording. By the end of this course you'll be producing your own high quality recordings, and become more proficient at the recording process from set-up to mix down. Developed by Apple, GarageBand is a digital audio workstation (DAW) capable of producing professional quality recordings. GarageBand's user friendly interface allows one to record multiple tracks of real instruments and software instruments, create podcasts, construct loops and create film scores. Upon completion of this course, you will have learned to:
- Set-up & run a recording session using GarageBand
- Record & edit real instruments
- Create loops
- Work with effects
- Record & edit software instruments
- Create Podcasts
- Edit & arrange regions
- Mix a multi-track recording
- Burn a CD of your project
- Convert selections to mp3
